Our client required to clear an area of land and implement all groundworks before the construction of two new, drive thru coffee shops.
We demolished two former car washes and cleared the site to make way for two Starbucks to be constructed. Deep drainage, attenuation, street works, concrete foundations, utility connections and all surfacing and landscaping was completed on both sites concurrently due to time constraints. The working environment was very challenging and left no room for error as the site was closely situated to the public.
After the initial ground works phase, the clients needs changed as they decided to construct a traditional build instead of a Modular building. This allowed us to show off our flexibility within the company and to deliver the complete package from the ground up. The build consisted of the full design and construction of a steel portal frame which was wrapped in micro rib insulated cladding and powder coated aluminium flashings with bespoke curtain walling glazed screens and a polished concrete floor.
The client was very impressed with our flexibility to meet their changing needs as well as our ability to manage and safely undertake two projects concurrently.
